The National Association of People with HIV Australia (NAPWHA) is Australia’s peak non-government organisation representing community-based groups of people living with HIV (PLHIV). NAPWHA’s membership of national networks and state-based organisations reflects the diverse make-up of the HIV-positive community and enables NAPWHA to confidently represent the positive voice in Australia.
AFAO is the national federation for the HIV community response. We provide leadership, coordination and support to Australia’s policy, advocacy and health promotion response to HIV. Internationally we contribute to the development of effective policy and programmatic responses to HIV/AIDS at the global level, particularly in the Asia Pacific.
ACON is NSW’s largest community-based HIV/AIDS and gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) health organisation.Our mission is to reduce HIV transmission and improve the health and wellbeing of people with HIV and the GLBT community.
We promote the health and wellbeing of people with HIV and the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) community. We also provide information and support for people at risk of or affected by HIV, including sex workers, people who use drugs and the family and/or carers of people with HIV.
