We want to better understand how HIV-positive people think about antriretroviral treatment (beliefs and actual experiences). We hope this study can contribute to better clinical care and social support for people living with HIV.
The survey contains several sections such as your experiences of living with HIV, various HIV treatment options, and concerns about antiretroviral therapy as treatment and prevention. The survey is anonymous and will take about 30-45 minutes to complete.
The project will provide further guidance to improve the lives of people living with HIV in Australia. For example, it will give clinicians, community leaders and policy makers a better understanding of why people use or not use antiretroviral therapy. As an individual completing the survey, there is no direct benefit.
